(ANSAmed) - ZAGREB, FEBRUARY 10 - In the region of Sisak and Petrinja, in central Croatia, hit by a devastating 6.4 magnitude earthquake last December 29, damage was recorded to 35,000 buildings, with 3,200 homes that are completely unusable.
Another five thousand buildings are temporarily unusable and in need of various repairs, after which they will be able to welcome their owners again.
In the affected areas, the government has so far set up 1,300 containers connected to electricity sources. There are almost four thousand displaced people. (ANSAmed).
