WASHINGTON, 4 SEPTEMBER - Donald Trump would have defined American soldiers who died during World War I as "losers" and "jerks", according to an article in The Atlantic magazine. Accusation that the White House has categorically denied. During a visit to France in November 2018 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, the US president canceled his visit to an American cemetery near Paris, citing bad weather conditions. But according to The Atlantic, the tycoon wasn't interested at all. "Why should I go to this cemetery? It's full of losers," he told his entourage, according to the magazine's anonymous sources. Trump would also have called the 1,541 American soldiers who died heroically in the Battle of Bosco Belleau as "idiots". "Nobody is brave enough to put their name on these allegations. It is because they are false," the White House replied.
