ROME, AUG 02 - An alleged 'deviated' secret unit of British Special Forces military Sas allegedly carried out a series of nocturnal actions in villages in Afghanistan, killing unarmed civilians in cold blood.
The accusation comes from the British Sunday Sunday Times, which claims to have viewed some secret emails and files related to a case in the High Court, which could shed light on at least 33 killings in 11 separate secret operations carried out on the Afghan war theater in 2011.
The documents in the Times would provide evidence of one particular episode in which, on the night of February 16, 2011, an unnamed unit of British elite troops allegedly stained themselves with the alleged assassination of four people, all male, in a raid on a home in the village of Gawahargin in the south of the southern province of Helmand.
