Enthusiastic fans - but many less than expected - inside the Bok Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, protesters faced by the police outside. Donald Trump's first election rally after the coronavirus emergency took place on Saturday in this climate. The President's election campaign had claimed to have received requests for a million tickets, and had organized - in addition to the rally - also a second speech, in a location outside the building, to satisfy what he imagined to be the many disappointed fans from the impossibility to enter the structure. In fact, the Bok Center, which has a capacity of 19,000 seats, remained at least a third empty during the president's speech, and the second location was so sparsely crowded that the president and his deputy, Mike Pence, decided to desert her. The electoral campaign accused the media (which would have frightened people) and the protesters (who, however, were very few) due to their lack of presence. At the end of the event, a magnitude 4.4 earthquake with an epicenter about a hundred kilometers from the city hit the area, but no damage was reported.
