LONDON, APR 21 - A new surge in the number of coronavirus deaths registered in the United Kingdom in the last 24 hours, after the substantial drop in the past two days: the Ministry of Health announced, with another 823 deaths in hospitals alone, almost double yesterday, just fifty less on Saturday and 160 less than the absolute daily record - British and European - of 10 April. The total number of deaths recorded rose to 17,337, while the diagnosed infections touched 130,000, with an increase curve decreasing around 4300 per day.
