WASHINGTON, MAR 16 - Donald Trump admitted for the first time, in a press conference in the White House, that the situation caused by the coronavirus in the US "is not under control" and has called Covid-19 an "invisible enemy". The pandemic, according to Trump, may end in the United States in July or August, "but we must do an excellent job." The American economy may be headed for a recession, the president said. "We have been taken by surprise by this coronavirus, it is so contagious ... but our response has been aggressive and the problem is mainly for older people," added Trump, who did not rule out a curfew decision in the future nationally, for now, however, not on the table. Trump believes it is not a "good thing" to postpone the primaries but said he will leave the decision to individual states. "It's a difficult choice," he admitted.
"If the Americans are united in following the epidemic guidelines, we will defeat the virus all together and celebrate."
