LONDON, DECEMBER 22 - Queen Elizabeth II went to a church today near her rural retreat while her husband, Prince Philip, spent his second night in a London hospital. Court officials did not provide any update on the 98-year-old Prince's condition following the announcement of his hospitalization last Friday at King Edward VII Hospital justified as a "precautionary measure due to a pre-existing condition". And at the moment it is unclear whether Philip will be discharged in time to join the rest of the royal family for Christmas in Sandringham, the real country estate in Norfolk. However, the queen respected her routine and today she went to church. Buckingham Palace then released a photo showing the queen preparing Christmas sweets with her son, Prince Charles, grandson William and little George, respectively the first, second and third heirs in line for the British throne.
