ROME, DECEMBER 12 - The 21-day deadline set by Israeli law expired at midnight for the Knesset to form a new government. The Parliament was therefore dissolved, but the deputies remained to discuss the provision fixing the date of the vote until late at night. Finally, the date of 2 March was confirmed, already established in recent days by the two major parties, blue-white and Likud. Normally the new consultation, the third in a year, an unprecedented circumstance, should have taken place on March 10, which however coincides with the Jewish holiday of Purim.
