NIAMEY, 11 DEC - At least 70 soldiers were killed in an attack yesterday by alleged jihadists in Niger. This was reported by an adviser to Niger President Mahamadou Issoufou. This is the most bloody jihadist attack in the African country since 2015. The president announced on Twitter that he is returning from a trip abroad to follow the developments of the attack near the border with Mali, in a remote area where are active terrorists linked to ISIS.
