The struggle in Paris does not stop to frame the activities of the new world giants born of the web revolution. After the battles on Uber or Airbnb, the mayor of the capital of France, Anne Hidalgo, proposed two measures to control and tax Amazon's deliveries. The current socialist traction committee believes that the on-line delivery boom is a "precarious factor, a source of congestion and pollution" in the capital, according to an intervention published by the city planning councilor, Jean-Louis Missika together with other Parisian managers. "The law - it continues in the text - must authorize the community to introduce an eco-fee to be imposed on home deliveries", according to the principle: "Who pollutes, pays". Amazon would be the first target of such a provision, but other platforms like Uber Eats are also mentioned in the declaration. The signatories also wish to "limit" the number of home deliveries.
