LA PAZ, 20 NOV. - With the death of a 24-year-old boy in the hospital, the number of deaths in accidents that occurred yesterday morning outside the fuel storage plant of the state-owned Ypfb company in Senkata, near El Alto. The newspaper La Razon reports.
Before this new serious incident, the Bolivian Office of the People's Defender (Ombudsman) had announced that by 20 October, the day of the disputed elections won by the resigning president Evo Morales, there were 24 dead.
Yesterday police and military departments intervened in force to remove a blockade from the Senkata plant built by pro-Morales demonstrators and to allow petrol and diesel tankers to be released to La Paz.
