ROME, NOVEMBER 18 - At least four people died and six others were injured in Fresno, central California, where someone in the evening - perhaps more than a shooter - entered a home garden where a private party was taking place and opened fire on people who were watching a football game together. The US media make it known, including the New York Times. The reason for the gesture is not yet clear, nor is the killer. Some of the injured were taken to hospital in critical condition.
Michael Reid, deputy chief of police in Fresno, explained that 35 people had gathered in the private garden when the killers entered and opened fire. The four deaths - the police officer added - are all men between the ages of 25 and 30 and there are no indications that the firing knew the victims.
No one has seen the killers or described the presence of suspicious vehicles in the area. The police are now examining security camera footage.
