BETHESDA (Maryland), NOVEMBER 17 - US President Donald Trump spent more than two hours yesterday at the Walter Reed National Medical Center near Washington, for what the White House has called a medical check-up part of his controls annual. An appointment that was not however indicated in the official program of the president's activities for the weekend, as is usually the case.
The last time Trump underwent a check-up goes back to last February.
The White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham explained that the 73-year-old president expects a very demanding 2020 and therefore wanted to take advantage of a weekend free from commitments in Washington to start a part of his routine checks. Grisham did not specify which tests Trump underwent nor did he explain why the medical examination was not indicated in advance. Both in 2018 and in 2019 the president's check-ups were taken into account in advance.
