Bercow, Brexit 'a historical mistake'

LONDON, 6 NOV - Brexit? "The greatest error of this country in the post-war period". John Bercow says it very clearly after having dismissed the role of speaker and said goodbye to the House of Commons after a decade of presidency of the assembly, under the banner of an interventionist and histrionic style, during which many old Tory party mates did not they spared him the accusation of anti-brexiteer partisanship.
Invited by the Foreign Press Association to give his first ex-speech, Bercow took the opportunity to settle some accounts, to defend Parliament from the accusations and essentially to counter the start of the conservative Prime Minister Boris's campaign speech Johnson. But also to reveal his pro Remain sympathies, after a political career built in the shadow of the more Eurosceptic Tory right.
"I do not think (Brexit) will help the United Kingdom", said Mister Order, "I respect the prime minister, but I think it would be better to stay in a power bloc" like the EU.
