(ANSAmed) - BEIRUT, NOV 4 - The Lebanese premier who resigned Saad Hariri today met with Foreign Minister Gibran Bassil and the two discussed the formation of the next government. The Lebanese media reported that they cited the office of Hariri, who resigned in recent days. This is how the informal consultations between the main Lebanese political-confessional leaders continue. The talks will include Prime Minister Hariri and President of the Republic Michel Aoun, Bassil's father-in-law, for the formation of a new government. Bassil, an ally of the Lebanese Hezbollah, is indicated as the tip of the iceberg of a "corrupt patronage system" against which the unprecedented popular protest that has been going on for more than two weeks in the whole country is addressed.
