ISLAMABAD, OCTOBER 31 - At least 46 people died and 42 others were injured in a violent fire that broke out on a Pakistani passenger train. It happened today near the city of Liaquatpur, in the eastern province of Punjab.
The fire was caused by the explosion of a gas cooker that some passengers were using improperly to prepare breakfast on board, on the convoy that went from Karachi to Rawalpindi. Twelve of the wounded are in serious condition, says police from the Rahim Yar Khan district.
