ROME, OCTOBER 29 - A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.5 was recorded at 9:04 local time (2:04 in Italy) on the Philippine island of Mindanao.
According to data from the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (Ingv) and the US Geological Survey, the earthquake had a hypocenter at a depth of about 20 km and was near Epicenter Bual.
At the moment no information is available on any damage to people or things.
