BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 20 - The EU takes time on Brexit: according to reports, at the meeting of permanent representatives of the EU (Coreper) this morning, the secretary general of the Council informed the ambassadors that President Donald Tusk has started consultations with the Heads of State and Government after the request for extension received last night from London.
Meanwhile, as indicated by Thursday's EU Council conclusions, internal procedures for ratifying the withdrawal agreement will continue.
