BRUSSELS - Turkey and the United States have reached an agreement for a 120-hour ceasefire in Syria in which the US will favor the evacuation of Kurdish fighters from the security zone agreed with Ankara. US Vice President Mike Pence said after meeting with Erdogan. US President Donald Trump will lift sanctions against Turkey after the ceasefire. It is the result of an interview that took place yesterday in Ankara between Erdogan and Mike Pence. The face-to-face meeting between the Turkish leader and the American vice president went on for an hour and forty minutes, and apparently produced concrete results.
