NEW YORK, 26 SEPTEMBER - "Today's ministerial meeting on Libya which I will co-chair with my French colleague Jean Yves Le Drian precedes the Berlin conference and aims to tell all the countries involved in the dossier to speak with one voice": the Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said in the margins of the UN General Assembly.
Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al Sarraj ruled out peace talks with his country's rival government leader, describing him as a "war criminal". General Khalifa Haftar "is not a partner for peace," he told the UN General Assembly. Sarraj called him and his "coup leaders" and blamed them for the continued instability in Libya.
