HONG KONG, SEPTEMBER 14 - Clashes this morning in Hong Kong during a demonstration by hundreds of pro-government officials who gathered in a shopping mall in the metropolis, waving Chinese flags and shouting slogans in support of the government.
The situation has degenerated in the Amoy Plaza mall, in the Kowloon district, when supporters of the pro-democracy reforms organized a counter-protest and between the two factions the insults flew first and then their fists, while some of the supporters ranks reforms used their rivals as blows of an umbrella.
The situation returned to calm only after police intervention, which according to some witnesses arrested an unknown number of people.
