CHARLESTON (USA), 5 SEPTEMBER - The hurricane Dorian has risen to category 3 (after having fallen from 5 to 2), while it is preparing to hit the south-eastern coasts of the United States threatening to flood Georgia and the southwest of Virginia.
Dorian could maintain this intensity for about 12 hours, but the National Hurricane Center predicts its gradual weakening tomorrow and Friday.
Over 1,500 people took shelter in 28 shelters in South Carolina, where heavy rains began late yesterday to hit the historic port city of Charleston.
