BEIJING, AUGUST 14 - Hong Kong police returned to using tear gas in the evening to disperse a group of pro-democracy protesters gathered near the Sham Shui Po Police Station, as part of the Hungry Ghost Festival, after refusing to clear and stop the use of lasers against the building. The protesters had gathered to burn "the infernal money" (on some sheets were printed the faces of the governor Carrie Lam and the former Chinese premier Li Peng, who died recently at 90 years) to keep away the spirits without peace.
