MOSCOW, AUGUST 8 - A fire broke out at a military base in Severodvinsk, in the Arkhangelsk region, in northern Russia, 'home' of the atomic submarines of the northern fleet. This is reported by several Russian media. According to Interfax, explosions are clearly audible.
According to an emergency service source quoted by Tass, "one person died in the accident, originating on board a ship". According to the TASS at the moment there are "10 injured".
