ROME, JULY 30 - The pro-government Afghan forces, including NATO allies, killed more civilians than the insurgents did in the first half of 2019. A UN report reported by the BBC reported this. It is the first time that occurs in 18 years of conflict. According to United Nations estimates, 717 civilians were killed by Afghan government forces and those under NATO aegis, against 531 deaths at the hands of insurgents. The air raids, mainly carried out by US fighters, killed 363 people, including 89 children.
