NEW YORK, JULY 28 - The photo of one of the two Americans stopped for the murder of the carabiniere in Rome, Gabriel Natale-Hjorth, blindfolded, opens the CNN website, which speaks of "a shocking image" and reports of the commencement of the shooting investigation. The photo also bounces on other American media, from the Washington Post to the Los Angeles Times which, quoting the Italian authorities, speak of "illegal act". The CNN specifies that the authenticity of the photo, initially leaked to the press, was confirmed by the police which opened two investigations, one on why the boy was blindfolded and the other to ascertain who favored its publication. The Washington Post talks about "new details" in the case of the killing of deputy brigadier Mario Cerciello Rega, referring to the blindfolded Christmas-Hjorth photo. A shot called "intolerable" citing the comments of the Italian authorities.
