Bus jumps on a mine in Kandahar

KABUL, JULY 15 - At least 13 civilians died and 33 were injured in a mine explosion in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar. Local sources make it known. According to the governor of Kandahar, Hayatullah Hayat, a minibus jumped on a mine in the Khakraiz district and the responsibility lies with the Taliban.
"All the victims are civilians and among them there are women, children and a baby of a few months," the governor specified. The attack was not claimed.
A local source told ANSA that minibus passengers came from Helmand province and were on a pilgrimage to a shrine in Kandahar province.
