ROME, JULY 8 - Greece "will raise its head with pride again": the winner of the elections and future Greek premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis said so, according to the BBC online report.
Mitsotakis, son of former Prime Minister Konstantinos Mitsotakis, stressed that the elections gave him a strong mandate for change, but added that he will be the prime minister of all because the Greeks are "too few to remain divided".
His Nea Dimokratia obtained 39.5% of the votes against 31.3% of Syriza: "I will not fail to honor the hopes" of the Greek people, added the 51-year-old leader.
