(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, JUNE 30 - Dozens of Palestinians from the Issawieh ward (East Jerusalem) were injured or bruised in three days of continuous confrontations with the Israeli police following the killing of one of its inhabitants - Mohammed Samir Obeid , 20 years old - struck Thursday to death by agents after, according to the official version, he had tried to attack them. The Palestinian news agency Wafa adds that, in parallel, the Israeli police have made dozens of arrests to Issawieh. According to Wafa, Israeli agents also searched the Palestinian hospital al-Moqassed in East Jerusalem in search of people who appeared to have been involved in those incidents.
