MOSCOW, JUNE 27 - Two people died and 31 needed medical attention following the emergency landing of an An-24 aircraft carrying 48 people at Nizhneangarsk airport in Buryatia, south-eastern Siberia.
The two dead, according to media and local authorities, are the pilots of the plane. According to the first reconstructions, the jet crossed the runway, hit a small airport facility and caught fire. The plane had taken off from Ulan-Ude and would have been forced to make an emergency landing due to an engine problem.
