"I don't resign, I didn't do anything wrong." This was said by Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis commenting on yesterday's oceanic demonstration in Prague in which over 250,000 people have asked for his resignation. In an interview with the newspaper Lidove noviny babis he said that he does not intend to give up, adding that the Czech Republic "has never been better than today". Yesterday in the capital of the Czech Republic there appeared what appears to have been the largest demonstration since the Velvet Revolution, which led to the fall of the Czechoslovakian communist regime in 1989. The demonstrators marched with EU and Czech Republic flags and banners against Babis, suspected of fraud on European funds, and against President Milos Zeman.
