ROME, JUNE 20 - The United Nations World Food Program has decided to partially halt food assistance operations in areas of Yemen under the control of the Sana'a authorities. This was announced by the World Food Program in a statement. The decision, the UN organization points out, was taken as a last resort after the stalemate in the long negotiations on an agreement to introduce controls aimed at preventing food from being taken away from some of the most vulnerable people in the country.
