BEIJING, JUNE 18 - Hong Kong's pro-democracy camp rejects governor Carrie Lam for refusing to withdraw the disputed extradition law in China and for the launch of an independent commission of inquiry into the harsh police methods used on Wednesday.
"He didn't even bow, would he have been sincere?", Commented Alvin Yeung Ngok-kiu, leader of the Civic Party, according to the South China Morning Post. The skepticism and the renewal of the request for immediate resignation prevail.
