(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, JUNE 12 - Moldova will move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The Moldovan government, led by interim premier Pavel Filip after the institutional crisis in the country that last week led to the suspension by the Constitutional Court of President-elect Igor Dodon, announced in a statement taken by the Israeli media. The decision, if completed, would make Moldova, the only European country to have an embassy in Jerusalem. The move was attacked by the Palestinian National Authority (ANP) and the PLO which defined it - according to the Wafa agency - as a "blatant violation of international law". PLO's Hanan Ashrawi pointed out that Moldova "should be treated as a rogue state in its complicity with Israeli crimes" and that the EU should take action against the country.
