TEHRAN, MAY 26 - Iranian President Hassan Rohani has proposed to hold a popular referendum for the continuation of Tehran's nuclear activities. The Irna reports. "In 2004 I asked the leader (Ayatollah Khamenei) to hold a referendum on this issue: he agreed, but with the election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad it was decided to continue on another path". We must "put an end to the economic war as soon as possible, because all suffering falls on the people".
