KABUL, MARCH 30 - At least four teenage students have been killed, perhaps unintentionally, by a rocket fired during the gunfight following the onslaught of Taliban militiamen against a security forces checkpoint near a school in the province East Afghan Ghazni.
A spokesman for the provincial governorate said that the four dead, in addition to 17 injured - 15 students and two teachers - were hit by at least one RPG rocket and bullets, apparently they remained victims of the crossfire.
The rocket - the spokesman said he is investigating to find out who shot him - hit the school in the Andar district. The dead pupils were between 10 and 16 years old.
