TEL AVIV, MARCH 25 - A house was hit this morning north of Tel Aviv by a rocket fired from Gaza, shortly after the alarm sirens sounded in the area. This was reported by Israeli military radio, according to which there are some wounded on site, one of them in average conditions.
This is the first time the area has been reached by Palestinian rockets from the Strip. According to the police, the rocket fell into an agricultural area north of the city of Kfar Saba. The affected building caught fire.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in the United States, where he is preparing to meet US President Donald Trump. Yesterday in a television interview he had launched a new warning, stating that he would not hesitate to respond forcefully to possible attacks by Hamas, despite the imminence of the 9 April political elections.
