ROME, MARCH 21 - New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has immediately banned the sale of assault weapons in the country, still in shock after the Christchurch massacre. The ban also applies to weapons with extended magazine and "military-type semi-automatic rifles", such as those used in the massacre last Friday. The premier said the arrested man bought the weapon legally and increased the capacity with a charger "easily purchased online".
