(ANSAmed) - GAZA, 08 MAR - Twelve Palestinians were injured today by gunshots during incidents between demonstrators, participating in the so-called Return March, and Israeli army units deployed along the Gaza border. This is reported by Palestinian medical sources. According to Israeli military radio, about eight thousand Palestinian demonstrators gathered today in some friction points along the border. North of Gaza two Palestinians managed to penetrate Israeli territory and were captured after an hour-long chase. South of Gaza, groups of demonstrators have repeatedly tried to break down the border barriers. During the demonstrations from Gaza, bunches of balloons were transported to the Negev, carrying bombs. One of these exploded near an Israeli village, without causing victims. (ANSAmed).
