(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, 06 MAR - Premier and Minister of Defense Benyamin Netanyahu has ruled that Hamas' television station, 'al-Aqsa TV', will now be considered by Israel to be a 'terrorist organization' '. This was announced by the premier's office that the decision was adopted after the Shin Bet (the internal security service) concluded that the issuer is used by Hamas to recruit activists in its ranks.
Last November, during a military escalation, an Israeli F-16 had hit the television studios in Gaza City on al-Aqsa television, after giving the employees short notice to abandon the building. Despite this attack the broadcasts continued because the issuer was able to make use of other studies in the Gaza Strip.
