Donald Trump has wrapped his speech on the State of the Union with repeated appeals to the unity of the country, relying on the historical, moral primacy of the United States; building a populated scene of civilian and military heroes: the guests present in the House of Representatives tribune. But when the time came to get to the point, the president offered nothing new to the Democrats about immigration and security: the subject of confrontation that has already led to the paralysis of the administration, the Shutdown at the end of December, and which risks triggering it another one in a week, next February 15th.
