LONDON, 17 JAN - Prince Philip, 97, was involved in a car accident today as he returned to Sandringham's royal country residence in Norfolk, but remained uninjured, according to Buckingham Palace.
Queen Elisabeth's wife, still active despite the official withdrawal from the public scene, was on board a Range Rover that collided with another vehicle. The Duke of Edinburgh reported no injuries, according to police sources, but was shocked and was taken to Sandringham in another car.
