North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is on a mission for the fourth time in China, from 7 to 10 January, at the invitation of the Chinese president Xi Jinping, while a second summit is under discussion with American president Donald Trump. The mission, made official by the New China agency, saw Kim starting Monday afternoon from Pyongyang together with the first lady Ri Sol-ju and some officials like Kim Yong-chol (head of negotiations with the US) and Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho. The North Korean leader arrived late Tuesday morning, on the day believed to be his 35th birthday. The visit feeds the rumors of advanced negotiations for a second meeting between the North Korean leader and the American president, after the historic face-to-face meeting last June in Singapore.
