Turkey, arrest orders for 95 soldiers

ISTANBUL, 4 JAN - New massive operations in Turkey against suspects infiltrated in the armed forces on behalf of Fethullah Gulen's network, which Ankara claims to have organized the failed coup d'état of 2016. The Konya prosecution, in central Anatolia, has issued this morning 60 arrest warrants. Police blitz are underway in 26 provinces to try to arrest suspects. Another 35 are wanted by order of the Ankara prosecutor's office among the members of the Navy. Among these, 10 soldiers are still in service. Since the attempted putsch, tens of thousands have been arrested in Turkey on charges of links to the Gulen network.
