At least six people were killed and several others were injured in a train accident involving a high-speed train on the Odense-Copenhagen line at the Storebæltsbroen , also known as Great belt, the bridge that connects the regions of Funen and Selandia, in Denmark. It is the most important in the country, after the Oresundsbroen (the great tunnel-viaduct linking Copenhagen and the Swedish city of Malmo through the Strait of Oresund) and is essential for internal and international connections. The confirmation of the number of victims came from the DSB, the company that manages the Danish railway system, and then from the regional police. Names and nationalities of people who have lost their lives have not yet been made public.
