NEW YORK, 21 DEC - The American House has approved a draft budget law that finances the government until the beginning of February and provides for the allocation of $ 5.7 billion for the construction of the wall with Mexico, as requested by Donald Trump. The provision was approved with 217 votes in favor and 185 against. The measure now passes to the Senate, where it will almost certainly not be approved because the Republicans would miss the 60 votes required for the go-ahead.
This increases the chances of a government shutdown at midnight on Friday.
